グレイシャーポイントロードはすでに管理車両は通行しているようで、倒木処理などが行われています。こちらのほうは開通の日が近いのかもしれません。

Update on Tioga road Opening 4/24/08.
Tioga Road opening operations continued yesterday.
Tioga Road progress for April 23, 2008:
Starting Location: 11.3 miles from Crane Flat Gate
Ending Location:15 miles from Crane Flat Gate (Mc Swain Summit)
Distance plowed today: 3.7miles
Average Snow depth: 6 ft.
Update on Glacier Point Road 4/24/08
Glacier Point Road is open to Administrative Traffic only.
The road is very icy due to current spring temperatures and is not sanded.
Wawona Road crews will be performing shoulder and road repairs as needed from Chinquapin to Glacier Point.
The gate at Chinquapin will be closed for administrative traffic only. ( Contact 460 before Admin. traffic entersroadway).
Forestry crews are presently removing hazard trees on the Glacier Point road starting at Chinquapin to Glacier Point.
Please watch out for Road crews, Sign Shop and Forestry crews on roadway drive slow and drive defensively. (T.Brochini – 4/24/08)

バジャーパススキー場は3月30日で営業終了です。
また４月13日まではスキー場パーキングまでアプローチできます。（クロスカントリースキー、スノーシューなどがまだ楽しめます）14日からはグレイシャーポイントロードの除雪作業のため、Chinquapinのゲート（Wawona roadとGP roadの分岐）がクローズとなります。

Special Note: Badger Pass ski area will close on March 30th, 2008. Weather permitting – the road will remain open from Chinquapin to the Badger Pass parking lot until April 13th. The gate at Chinquapin will be closed to all traffic for snowplow operations to begin April 14th on the Glacier Point road

３月７日、フィラデルフィアからサンフランシスコへのフライトでした。到着前３０分程のところで、シエラネヴァダ山脈の上空を飛びます。
窓際の席でなかったのが残念。
まだまだ雪がたっぷりです。

サンフランシスコ・クロニコル紙が「Yosemite: Cozy Ostrander Hut worth the work getting there on skis」という記事を掲載しています。Ostrander Hutは冬季にオープンする山小屋で、ここにはクロスカントリースキーでのみアクセスできます。

バジャーパススキー場の料金表（リフト・レンタル・レッスン）です。
2006-2007シーズンのものですので、今シーズン（2007-2008）は価格改定があるかもしれませんので、ご参考までに。

例年は3月末〜4月上旬の週末まで営業します。

Tioga & Glaciar Point Road 雪のため冬季クローズになりました。
以後、120号線での公園横断はできませんので、ご注意ください。

12月に入りましたが、Tioga Road と Glaciar Point Road がいまだにオープンしています。
1990年以降では、閉鎖日が12月になった年は1995年だけです。
（閉鎖後に降雪が少なく再オープンし、年末年始時期に通れた年が1年だけあります。）
